The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the Advocacy & Guardianship (A&G) Department staff in a variety of administrative and clerical matters. Work involves assignments that require some independence in making decisions and obtaining solutions while adhering to and/or operating within established policies, rules and guidelines. The individual generates reports, data entry, and answers the telephones. May serve as the receptionist, file clerk, secretary or other support position in order to maintain offices services uninterrupted. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Associate's degree is preferred or any equivalent combination of related training and experience. Must demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Software. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and evenings, weekends and holidays.
