Full time position available for an individual to provide case management for adult forensic psychiatric population.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Assisting the Program Coordinator in the maintenance and supervision of all client service plans, medication records and related documentation

Facilitating and participating in discharge planning and placement with families and community agencies

Assisting staff in clinical areas

Assuring all licensure and accreditation standards are met in social service areas.

Developing and completing case management assessments on each resident.

Coordinating and attending weekly treatment team meetings.

Coordinating client services with DC&F client managers.

Participating in a Case Management peer review process.

Skills / Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

B.A. or B.S. degree in behavioral sciences or related field

Two years experience in a psychosocial rehabilitation program.

Knowledge of basic interviewing techniques, mental disabilities and medical terminology.

Knowledge of the influences of cultural and ethnic backgrounds on client engagement and attitudes toward Mental Health Services.

Ability to establish effective working relationships with both staff and clients.

Ability to organize, plan and coordinate work assignments

Good written and oral communication skills.

Current Florida driver license and safe driving record acceptable to Bayview insurance carrier.
