Job: Director of Dining Services

The Director of Dining Services is responsible for directing all aspects of dining room services in all Food and Beverage Operations (F&B) including care venues to ensure a high quality dining experience for residents and guests. Works with Cabinet Team to provide assistance and support for special functions and outside catering events.

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in quality Food & Beverage operations management in a high quality restaurant, hotel, country club or senior living company.

Oversight of multiple F&B venues.

Knowledge of budgets, reporting, training and staff management skills.
Systems-oriented, with excellent communication skills and sensitivity to the needs of older adults.

Must have current state health and sanitation certification. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) designation a plus. Ability to become CDM and Certified Food and Beverage Executive (CFBE).

Basic skills in Microsoft Office and experience with a POS system.

Financial acumen to manage budget.

Well-developed human relations skills with experience in interviewing/selecting, evaluating, training, coaching and motivating staff.

College degree in related field is preferred, (Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business)
