Job: Makeup Artist Instructor

This position involves conducting adult educational assessment, testing, and instruction;
completion of related documentation and reports; maintaining on-going student contact;
maintaining public relations activities; maintaining student retention activities; and
participation in staff and professional development activities.
Instruction of theory and practical for the particular program of study. The instructor will
utilize The Milady curriculum in accordance with lesson plans as set forth by the institution

Provides educational instruction in assigned subject.

Conducts student assessment and testing, educational/vocational goal setting, and options
counseling to 100% of assigned students.

Provides instruction that produces educational improvements as defined by the
Department of Education educational standards for all assigned students.

Weekly contacts any student who has an unexplained absence to discuss progress, offer
assistance, and encourage retention. Documents contact with absent students.

Conducts any and all activities necessary to retain 85% of all assigned students.

Develops and submits 100% of learning documentation and progress forms (lesson plans,
testing results, and other learning documentation) for 100% of assigned students in accordance
with directed timeline requirements.

Prepares and submits 100% of student-related forms (weekly student evaluations;
student/attendance forms; tracking and information forms, informal assessments, and other
required student-related documents) for 100% of assigned students in accordance with directed
timeline requirements.

Tracking forms, and other required staff-related documents) in accordance with directed
timeline requirements.

Immediately notifies immediate supervisor of any and all support services that students
may need.

Notifies immediate supervisor of all student absences the same day the absence occurs.

Maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to corporate/project policies,
procedures, and regulations; keeps immediate supervisor well-informed of activities, results of
efforts, problems identified/potential problems, etc.; recommends corrective actions to
immediate supervisor.

Attends all directed meetings, seminars, workshops, staff development trainings, etc.

Reports to work on time.

Assists with other duties as assigned or as directed.

Instruction of the related program of study as set forth in the institutions lesson plans,
curriculum, and course outlines.

Completion of Roll Call, utilizing Attendance Rosters as provided by the institution.

Grading Exams.

Experience and Education:

High school graduate or its equivalent, plus 2 years experience in related field, for which
instructor is teaching.
