Jobing Description
Under general supervision, this employee coordinates the office operation, work flow and technical support for the HR-Professional Development & Training unit including developing, creating, designing and maintaining web content; creating and analyzing data using complex spreadsheets, monitoring the work of other analyst/specialist, maintaining budgets and tracking expenditures; generating on-demand and end-of-year reports; providing technical support during workshops and other college wide professional development events; developing and conducting computer related training; designing and editing printed and software materials; serving as back-up to all Senior and Professional Development Specialists in the unit; and assisting the AVP, PD&T in all phases of office operation. This employee serves as a critical member of the Human Resource team.
Minimum Education: Associates Degree required. Bachelor's degree highly preferred or an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered where applicable. Minimum Experience/Training: Typically four or more years of directly related experience in the field of work required. Two to three years of recent experience in web page management; office technology software and computer applications including spreadsheets, reports and databases; utilizing electronic conference software, reporting and email/calendar tools. Two or more years managing budgets and supervising/leading employees. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered where applicable.
