RECOVER - RN II, Recovery Room
A registered nurse who, after additional education and/or training is specialized in perianesthesia. Provides direct nursing care for pediatric, adolescent, adult & geriatric patients. Works directly with physicians in planning and implementing patient care. Acts as a resource to peers and as preceptor to new employees. Maintains RN II competencies as defined by education council. Under direction of Nurse Manager of Surgical Services, provides direction and supervision of ancillary staff.

Certifications: ACLS required, CNOR preferred, SGNA preferred, CPAN, CAPA preferred. FL RN required. Associate Degree required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
Experience in Pre/Post Procedure, Endoscopy and Pain.
Computer knowledge preferred.
BCLS, ACLS and PALS required.
AIDs update required.
