Job Purpose Responsible for the supervision of In Room Dining employees to ensure the In Room Dining experience exceeds guest expectations. This is a full-time position for the PM shift only. Minimum Requirements • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the In Room Dining department at a luxury hotel. • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. • Ability to multi task, maintain and improve overall quality standards. • Service oriented, detail oriented. • Able to carry at least 30 lbs. Job Responsibilities • Supervise servers to ensure all orders are set up correctly and served in a timely manner. • Assist servers and Ordertakers when necessary. • Work closely with other departments ensuring communication flows effectively. • Assist with the training of employees in accordance with hotel guidelines. • Take inventories for In Room Dining related equipment, products and supplies as required. • Prepare requisitions for approval to ensure par stock levels are maintained for all items. • Assist with ensuring the department is operating efficiently and the In Room Dining experience is in accordance with the hotels operating criteria. • Handle cash in accordance with hotel cashiering procedures. • Organize the In Room Dining station area. • Attend daily briefings, meetings and training as required. • In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.
