Job: Career Services Representative

Technical Career Institute (TCI) is part of Education Affiliates, one of the fastest growing providers of quality, private, for- profit post secondary education. Our campus is located at the Mall of Americas in Miami, Florida. With the expansion of our campus and the addition of new programs we are seeking part-time and full-time instructors to join our team!

We are currently seeking Career Services Representative!

An individual in this position is responsible for recruiting and selection of qualified applicants for Career Services to Technical Career Institute. The Career Services representative (CSR) must manage his/her time and contact employer resources to open job openings and work with graduates to schedule candidate interviews and follow up contacts to achieve weekly and monthly goals. The CSR is also responsible for completing appropriate follow-up to assure successful placement of graduates and is accountable for monthly job opening and graduate placement goals.

The CSR is responsible for conducting such activities in accordance with state and federal accreditation and Institute’s policies and regulations, consistent with the highest ethical standards.

Key Job Elements:

Develop relationships with local employers and maintain a list or job opening for graduates.

Schedule and conduct interviews.

Determine appropriateness of candidates for employers.

Assure that graduate interview and placement goals are met.

Accurately and completely portray institution’s educational programs and expected outcomes to employers and graduates.

Consistently conduct follow-up with all graduates to assure successful placement in field of study

Participate in appropriate career services activities including: open houses, presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, career days, etc.

Conduct all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards. Adhere to all state, and federal accreditation and Institute rules and regulations regarding student recruitment.

At least 1-2 years of recruiter/human resources experience preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written, English. Spanish is helpful.

Able to work with people from a variety of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds

Ability to work independently and make decisions based on general guidelines. Able to work in a fast paced environment

Possess a sincere interest in helping others achieve life goals

Must be goal oriented and highly ethical
