Profile: Broward College-Community

Broward Community College (BCC) is a large, three-campus, three-center urban institution serving approximately 60,000 credit/non-credit students plus 14,800 students served by the Center for Economic Development.  Located in Southeast Florida, BCC was founded in 1959 as the first public higher education institution in the county. BCC functions as the principal provider of undergraduate higher education for the residents of Broward County.

The mission of Broward Community College is to provide high quality educational programs and services that are affordable and accessible to a diverse community of learners. Supported by the Board of Trustees and the community, a dedicated faculty and staff fulfill this mission through their commitment to student achievement, lifelong learning, academic excellence and the use of current technology.
