Profile: Festival of Caring

Our mission is to connect with our community and share God's love.

A vital part of our mission involves prayer. Months before the the Festival of Caring, we'll be praying for the needs of our community. During the Festival of Caring week, we'll visit our neighbors and pray for any specific prayer concerns they might have.

Another important part of our mission is to get connected with our neighbors, so we'll be going into the community spreading acts of kindness. This is our way of sharing God's love in practical ways with our neighbors. We'll also invite our neighbors to the Festival of Caring Block Party, because we want to offer our neighbors a completely FREE night of fellowship, food, music, and fun. To assist our neighbors, we're featuring a HEALTH FAIR and a CAREER WORKSHOPS at the block party.

Our hope is that a single act of kindness might speak volumes to someone about God's love, and a single prayer request lifted up might comfort someone. Our longterm mission is to remain connected with our community. It is our desire that the Festival of Caring will become a catalyst for ongoing ways to reach out to our community.
