The Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County is a not-for-profit organization created to promote and protect the sound growth of the marine industry in Palm Beach County for the benefit and education of its members, the community, and the environment.

The Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County is a trade organization comprised of the area's leading marine-related businesses. As the organization has worked to serve its members, it has also become a leader in numerous legislative efforts on behalf of the 40,000+ registered boaters of Palm Beach County.

 

Your Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County works hand-in-hand with the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners and their staff on a variety of local waterfront issues. We recently worked together to pass a bond referendum that provides $50 million toward preserving and enhancing local water access for boaters.

 

Your Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County supports the efforts of other organizations and grass-roots efforts including the Save the Working Waterfront Committee, formed after the Palm Beach County's Property Appraiser proposed drastic increases to the ad valorem real estate tax assessment for boatyard and marina properties in Palm Beach County. This affects many of our members very directly. It affects all of our members at least indirectly.

 

Your Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County owns the growing Palm Beach Boat Show, your single largest annual opportunity to display products and services for tens of thousands of boaters and potential boaters.

 

Your Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County produces Coastlines, the only publication mailed directly to all registered boat owners (16'+) in Palm Beach County. There simply is no more targeted, cost-effective way of reaching your target market. We welcome articles and input from our members, who also benefit from discounted advertising rates.

 

Your Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County owns and produces the now famous Holiday Boat Parade of the Palm Beaches, and hosts a members-only Viewing Party so well received that some of our members use the event as their company holiday parties for employees and their families.  In addition, MIAPBC sponsors the Boca Raton and the Boynton Beach/ Delray Beach Holiday Boat Parades. 

 

Your Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County produces the popular Boaters Guide, the area's most popular (and free) reference for boaters, featuring our members.

 

Your Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County led the effort to create a Boating Needs Assessment Committee, tasked with examining the availability of public boating facilities in Palm Beach County and determining if the current supply is adequate to meet public demand for saltwater and freshwater access, both now and in the future. Recommendations were presented to the Palm Beach County Commissioners.
