Blog Post: Is outsourcing the way of the future . . . . ?
posted Thursday, March 5, 2009 3:12 PM
. . . .I don't know. I do know that many of my fellow HR professionals are starting their own consulting business and have been quite busy during these down economic times. Let's face it, what small business can afford a full-time payroll/HR professional on payroll. How much would that really cost them? I don't know about you, but I'd say at least $50-$60K minimum; and thats just the salary of a novice HR professional. Outsourcing payroll and HR services could cost that same small business less than $10K. It's really a no-brainer. I really believe there will always be a need for larger businesses to have in-house HR staff. I do see where the smaller business (under 100 employees) would benefit from outsourcing this function. What do you think?
