GMSHRM Global Forum will kick its 2009 Series with an informative session on the compensation perspectives for Latin America. Mercer will be providing an overview of the key compensation and benefit issues and trends across the Latin America Region, with a focus on countries facing specific challenges from a compensation perspective.  It will be based on data extracted from Mercer industry leading research, including Total Remuneration, Cost of Living and Quality of Living surveys.  Mercer will compare and contrast compensation and benefit competitiveness in Latin America addressing the following areas:

• Salary Ranking
• Cost of living
• Purchasing power
• Variable pay
