A local group of minority HR professionals’ desire to build strategic alliances on a consistent and convenient basis prompted the founding of a South Florida Chapter of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources .

Join us for our very first event. It will be a "Holiday Mingle and Jingle" where we will be networking, discussing the history of NAAAHR, our goals and recruiting members to join our South Florida chapter.

We have an excited and dedicated leadership team ready to spearhead this venture of creating and developing a NAAAHR, South Florida Chapter. I find it disheartening that professionals in the HR Profession want to segregate themselves by creating such associations. We should be looking to build on diversity and welcome everyone of all races as a single group with a common goal.

Christine, the decision to pioneer a South Florida Chapter of NAAAHR is not an attempt to segregate HR Professionals. Quite the contrary, it is simply another opportunity for HR Professionals with similar interests to collaborate. NAAAHR maintains a solid relationship with SHRM and Local SHRM Chapters. Further, NAAAHR does not limit participation and/or membership to people of color.
